"Learning Involves The Entire Child"
We feel the development should include:
The physical, emotional, social, and intellectual being--with an emphasis on the joy of learning; the ability to make choices; the ability to learn through his/her own experiences; the development of the senses, motor skills, self-confidence, self-discipline, concentration, the child's attention span, the sense of order in his/her everyday life; creativity; and the development of their imagination and independence
Montessori International recognizes the early years of the child's development to be the most formative. What is more, we appreciate the need for skillful, well-prepared teachers and excellent school facilities. It is our hope for the future that these standards will constantly improve and be expanded.
